Common questions
The mic isn't picking me up.+
Make sure Voca has microphone permission in your phone settings (iOS: Settings → Voca → Microphone; Android: Settings → Apps → Voca → Permissions). If permission is on and it still misses you, try a wired or Bluetooth headset — many phone speakers in cases pick up muffled audio.
I subscribed but the app says I still need to upgrade.+
Open Settings → Subscription → Restore purchases. This pulls your latest entitlement from the App Store or Google Play. If it's still wrong after a minute, email support@voca-learn.com with your store receipt and we'll fix it manually.
How do I change my native language?+
Settings → Languages → Native language. Voca supports English, Spanish, French, Italian, Portuguese and German as native languages — all explanations, translations, and tutor prompts adapt immediately.
How do I cancel?+
Subscriptions are managed by the App Store or Google Play. Open your store account, find Voca under Subscriptions, and turn off auto-renew. You keep access until the end of the period you paid for.
How do I delete my account?+
Inside the app: Settings → Account → Delete account. This removes your account record, learning history, and subscription metadata within 30 days. If you can’t reach the in-app option, email support@voca-learn.com from the email address on your account.
A roleplay character said something strange or inappropriate.+
Please send us the scenario and a transcript snippet at support@voca-learn.com. The AI is supposed to stay in character and stay safe; reports help us tighten the guardrails.
